As you know, and probably have known for quite a while, due to the absence of a "Hello, ____ , you have _ messages, _ are new" message, it is hard to tell if you have any PMs, now. Well, one way is to check the info box at the bottom of the main page every day, but if you don't want to do that, you can go into your PMs (via the infobox), click on PM Preferances, and select "yes" from one of the checkboxes which look like this:
. There is one above that which allows you to get e-mail notification, but I think that will be enough. It's your choice!
